Primary school in Erbusco
International Competition _
Perched on the hill, the project seamlessly integrates with the landscape, surrounded by vineyards and deeply intertwined with the essence of the place. The grapevine and nature take center stage, shaping the design of the school. The goal is to raise awareness among its users about the value of the land and its significance. Just as grapes slowly ripen in the sun to become wine, the school is envisioned as a barrel of growth—a place where students, like fine wine, mature and evolve over time.
The project consists of two slightly offset main volumes, within which a space dedicated to community activities unfolds. This area includes a council hall, a media library, and an exhibition space, all organized into three double-height circular areas that capture zenithal light, creating a suggestive and dynamic atmosphere.
On the sides, the classrooms are systematically arranged, providing functional and flexible spaces. Each area can open up and expand as needed, ensuring versatility and adaptability
